Studies have been shown that abortion create scar tissue and can lead to inferilty ectopic pregancies and preterm birth the risk increases with each abortion

It can. The D & C instruments can cause scarring of the uterine wall which can make it difficult for a pregnancy to attach effectively to go term or at all. And unfortunately this can also happen to women who have had D&C’s for miscarriages.

ive read somethings that say haveing 1/multiple abortions may cause it to be more difficult to concieve another child. and sorry but guess everyone is right what goes around comes around

When you have an abortion, they have to do some procedure to make sure everything is cleared out…that’s about as graphic as I want to get on this. It is very sad to hear that your friend has had two previously. But the death of those children is in the past and we are discussing the ability to get pregnant now.

The studies that have been completed to date appear to give mixed reviews on the effects multiple abortions have on the future potential for pregnancies. I cannot help but feel the studies themselves are tainted by the politics of Pro-Choice versus Life.

The honest answer is that it is not known and the impact of multiple abortions for an individual may not turn out the way statistics for the masses has. My advice…keep trying. Hope for the best. And if all else fails, adopt a child that has lived, but was surrendered by the mother and father rather than raised. These babies need a loving home as well.

Could be. There are conflicting studies on the subject. Some women are just more prone to miscarriage and have a hard time conceiving, others because of past pregnancies have had a hard time getting pregnant. If she is concerned I suggest you have her speak to her doctor about it. She can be examined to see if scar tissue is present from the two previous pregnancies, if she does that could be one reason why she is having a hard time conceiving. Also if she had any complications after the abortions that can increase her chances. The best advice is for her to go get checked out.

There’s a chance, especially if they were done improperly (as if there’s a "proper" way to do an abortion…)
She should have her doctor check her out. Make sure she doesn’t kill this baby too.

I think so. It could have been botched and wrecked her insides. I have a hard time with this question because I am totally against abortions.. I think its ironic you would want kids now after ending the lives of the others. Maybe God is saying NO.

NO AND NO as long as it was done right. By right by a licensed place like planned parenthood. And if she took her meds after to prevent infection, cause the infection could cause her to be infertile. BUT ITS VERY UNLUCKILY I think she needs to see if its her partner not her.

I’ve never had an abortion and I have not been able to concieve.
I have several friends that have had more than one abortion and they have no problem getting pregnant.
Other friends have had abortions and now have problems concieving.
I think it depends greatly on your physiology, and all other contributing factors.
If you really want it, it will happen for you.

probably not, but killing innocent babies is not the answer. put them up for adoption if you have to. you concieved the baby, you take care and love it. its not its fault that you got pregnant. babies can feel pain. sorry if i didnt help, but i really think abortion is wrong. sorry again.

Well my mother had 2 abortions and then got pregnant with me, unfortunately decided to have me, and then she had another abortion, then got pregnant with my sister, so…I don’t know if it affects different ppl differently or what. But if she could reproduce herself, then anyone can.
